  • Hon'ble Chairperson,NCW:We recognize that every state has different needs & women centric issues/Focus on action plan&implementation of same
  • Gujarat State Women Commission: Innovative approaches have been adopted to deal with complaints received from women
  • Maharashtra State Commission for Women: A state level forum (PUSH) has been created to effectively deal with sexual harassment
  • Rajasthan State Commission for Women: An initiative ( KAL) is been proposed to advocate pre-marital counselling amongst women
  • Andhra Pradesh State Commission for Women: Concentrated efforts have been made to promote skill development to equip women
  • Manipur State Commission for Women: Efforts are being made to initiative a state level helpline for women.
  • Telangana State Commission for Women: One stop crisis centres should be made effective and accountable.
  • Assam State Commission for Women: NCW and SWCs need to work closely towards safeguarding rights of women
  • Odisha State Women Commission: We are trying to focus on eradicating human trafficking and witch-hunting
  • Arunachal Pradesh State Women Commission: Advocating for codification of customary laws/creating safe spaces for women
  • Haryana Sate Women Commission: Need to emphasize compulsory registration of marriages
  • Uttar Pradesh State Commission for Women: Women need to stand together for eradicating gender based violence
  • Chhattisgarh State Women Commission:Education of girls need to be emphasized/promoting Mahila Choupal: building capacities of women
  • Sikkim State Women Commission: Legal awareness of women need to be promoted at state/district level.
  • Uttarakhand State Women Commission: Self-defense classes have been promoted in remote villages to enhance safety of women
  • Punjab State Women Commission: Focused efforts have been made to deal with distressed women in NRI cases
  • Ms Rekha Sharma, Member-NCW: We are determined to safeguard rights of women by working closely with SWCs
  • Mr Alok Rawat,Member-NCW: Committed to protect the rights of women, determined to work closely with states to create enabling environment
