Ms Hemlata Kheria, Member visited Jodhpur Jail and had interaction with Shri Rakesh Mohan Sharma, Supt of Jail and his associates The team also met women prisoners. On this occasion, Ms Shamina Shafiq, Member also accompanied her. The team inspected the jail premises and also examined as to whether the facilities being provided to the female inmates were as per the Jail Manual. Based on their observations, the team has recommended certain measures for betterment of female inmates which are included in the report.
