Group Marriage of 56 couples was conducted on Sunday, the 8th July, 2012 at a ceremony organised by Dr. V. Mohini Giri (former Chairperson, National Commission for Women) and Trustees of Guild for Service. The venue was the Executive Club, Village Shahoorpur, Fatehpur Beri, New Delhi-110 074. 

Dr. Charu WaliKhanna Member, NCW was also present as special guest and was requested to do the traditional Kanyadaan ceremony. All guests present were asked to select one couple each and participate in the Kanyadaan ceremony to the chanting of shlokas. After the Kanyadaan Ceremony all the couples in a group took pheras’ around the sacred fire. 

7 couples were married according to Muslim rites and signed nikahnamah. 

Others present included President Mrs. Neena Jain and Inner Wheel Members of Delhi Midtown, President Sh.Atul Dua and Members of Rotary Club of Delhi Midtown, along with PDC Smt. Pushpa Bhargava and Past President Rtn. Nagendra Prakash and District Chairman Smt. Seema Khaitan.
