College, Rohtak. Speaking on the occasion Dr. Charu WaliKhanna member said that every adult girl has the right to choose her partner. If the girl exercising her right to choice is unacceptable to the family, then at the most they can disassociate with her or disinherit her but have no right to go against the law of the land and kill her or even commit atrocities on their daughter. Hemlata Kheria, Member, NCW, said that the cultural values are very deep rooted in our society when the younger generation is challenging the centuries old established norms continues to face the social stigma and take the wrath of society in form of social boycotts.

So far the students participated in the interactive session and raised many questions. They said that experience and the maturity can help them to overcome the problems. The parents should give their children the correct guidance. They raised the doubt without men or women whether the society can move like ahead.
