Ms. Hemlata Kheria, Member, NCW, visited Matugauda Panchayat and Sunderpur Panchayat, Dungarpur, Rajasthan on 27.06.2013. She met with Superintendent of Police and Deputy Superintendent of Police at Circuit House and discussed on various cases. She also went to Mahila Thana with Mr. Rahul Jain, S.P. and met the duty officers. 

Ms. Kheria had meeting with tribal women in Rajiv Gandhi Sewa Kendra organised by Ms. Durga Rawat, CDPO, Mr. Sanjay, Programme coordinator, Ms. Khorwal, SDM and Ms. Sheela Choudhary. Tribal women discussed many problems faced by them regularly. The women of tribal areas complained such as dowry/alcoholism/bigamy/domestic violence, roads, toilet problem, BPL Card, widow pension and Anganwari. The witch practice (diane) and domestic violence was also discussed and complaints were received. There were also number of complaints of wives beating after drinking
