Ms Hemlata Kheria, Member, NCW and Manasi Pradhan, Social Activist visited District Jail, at Puri in Odisha and had meeting with the Superintendent of Jail, officials and female inmates and discussed about their problems. Inmates shared their problems like no legal aid system/no counselling/no education for small children and adult women/no crèche for children/no vocational training for them. No medical facility.
