Member was invited to deliver a lecture at the workshop on the subject of ‘Women Studies - an Introduction’ organised by ‘ Centre for Women’s Studies, Aligarh Muslim University at Aligarh on 8th September, 2012. Member deliberated upon the subject in detail to acquaint the faculty and Research Scholars in the Centre for Women’s Studies in Northern India with the objectives, concepts of Women’s studies as an academic discipline that pertains to social activitism including a special lecture on National Commission for Women covering its Objectives, Structures and Functions. The event was widely covered by the electronic and print media.
