News Paper ‘Badalta Shasan’ was launched as daily newspaper on Sunday, 30th September, 2012 at a well organised grand function by the publishers.

The Chief Guest was Mr. Safdar Husain Khan, Chairman, Delhi Minority Commission; Guest of Honour was Dr. Charu WaliKhanna, Member, National Commission for Women (NCW) and Mr. Hariram Sood, Member, National Commission for Safai Karmcharis. Other guests included and Mr. B.S. Malik, Programme Executive, Akashwani and Mr. Surendra Kumar Sharma. Dy Director Incharge (Information), Information and Department of Public Relation, Meerut.

Distinguish guests highlighted the Role of Media and the need for responsible reporting. It was also said that the media is the fourth pillar and plays an important role in Information, Education and Entertainment, but for a democracy to be strong, it is important that reporting should be impartial.

Dr. Charu WaliKhanna Member, NCW spoke on the need for media to highlight women issues. She said the media through its reach should be instrumental in supporting the movement for women emancipation by focusing on neglect and marginalization of the position of the women in society.

During the program prominent citizens and good samaritans, including 5 women, were felicitated by the distinguished guests.
