On 28.12.2012 , the Hon’ble Governor of Uttara Khand H.E. Mr. Aziz Qureshi, granted audience to Dr. Charu WaliKhanna who presented him copy of the ‘Code of Conduct’ developed by the Commission. Hon’ble highly appreciated work of National Commission for Women especially ‘Code of Conduct’, which he suggested be published in vernacular languages for wider dissemination of information in semi-urban and rural areas. He also said atmosphere and public opinion to be created against perpetrators of violence against women, and women should not to victimised on reporting cases.
