National Commission for Women has taken suo moto cognizance of an alleged incident reported in the media wherein a woman who allegedly absconded with another man was disrobed and beaten up by the villagers at Village Polar, Tehsil Sarara, Udaipur. A team lead by Hon’ble Chairperson,NCW, Smt. Mamta Sharma has reached the spot.
