#Karnataka | Today the National Commission for Women's Inquiry Committee, led by Smt. Rekha Sharma, visited #Hassan to investigate into the recent case of women bonded labourers rescued from a plantation in Savanthahalli Village.

The Committee met concerned district officers and some of the victims to ascertain the facts and circumstances of the case.

Secretary, Karnataka State Commission for Women, Dy. Commissioner, SP Hassan District, Addnl. SP, Hassand District, Assistant Labour Commissioner,
officials of WCD Dept. and Social Welfare Dept., Tehsildar and Executive Officer of Hassan District were also present.
